Export of abandoned plastic toward UNICORN INDUSTRY (M) SDN BHD (UNICORN) is approved by Japanese government and Malaysian government based on Basel Convention.

Export of “MIX Plastic” is restricted by Basel Convention currently. However, based on the approval of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, it is allowed for Sinen to export to Malaysia.

Specifically, export approval is obtained for each port below, and exports from the port near to the discharger are possible.

2. Mechanism of export approval (for Malaysia) for mixed abolished plastic based on the Basel Treaty

・ Annual application is implemented in accordance with the Basel Treaty and Basel Law.
・ After acquiring export approval from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, a management trade that submits a separate movement application for each individual export and exports.

・ Mix plastic mixed with multiple colors

・ Exports are possible in the press state as the shape of the material (exports of press items are not allowed according to the current Basel Convention).

(Note) The availability of abandoned plastic exports will be followed by the “Basel Law on Exporting Plastic Exports” (October 1, 2020), but we will be in Malaysia in accordance with the export permission based on the two countries consent.
